The XSC-100 Single Board Computer is a full featured development system that offers a higher level of computing power for PowerPC users. The XSC-100 has incorporated IBM’s 970FX processor, a 64-bit implementation of the PowerPC® family.

The dual 970FX PowerPC® architecture is connected to the system with IBM’s CPC925 North Bridge. The North Bridge accommodates functions such as CPU bus interface/management, DDR memory bus control, PCI/AGP, and HyperTransport. The HyperTransport infrastructure provides chip-to-chip interconnect and allows additional peripheral I/O to be integrated into the design. The XSC-100’s Extended ATX form factor (13” x 12”) allows deployment with industry standard chassis and enclosures.
